The Cairo Syrupmaker defeated Westover on Tuesday at Barber Park 4-1, and the Syrupmaids came up short in the quest to sweep Westover.  Lee Cox and Kelvin Hart won in singles, and the teams of Jacob Atkinson and Jay Jones, along with Justin Drew and Dylan Trueden were all winners for Cairo.

The Cairo Syrupmaker baseball team got two hits including a homerun from Jeremy Crosby as the Makers beat Northview High School in the Bainbridge tournament 4-2 Tuesday.
