Mr. Mobley was born on July 13, 1934, in Cairo, GA, to the late Henry Mobley and Emma Lorene Bynum Mobley. On October 10, 1953, he married Jacquelyn Humphries Mobley, who survives. He was the owner and manager of Singletary-Mobley in downtown Cairo. In 1983, he founded Mobley’s Furniture in Cairo. Winford made numerous trips all over the world for his achievements in merchandise sales. He was an avid hunter and fisherman traveling from Okeechobee, FL to Alaska to wet a hook. He loved to supply fish to the community and his church. He was a member of Gideons International and a member of Long Branch Baptist Church of Cairo.
Survivors include: his wife, Jacquelyn Humphries Mobley of Cairo, GA; daughter, Rhonda Bishop (Charlie) of Cairo, GA; son, Burk Mobley (Aletha) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Dottie Taylor (Chris) of Cairo, GA, Jackie Moye (Kyle) of Cairo, GA; Barry Mobley, Jr. of Thomasville, GA, Laurie Helton (Michael) of Cairo, GA, Donna Keen of Thomasville, GA, Jennifer Moore (Chris) of Cairo, GA, and Kelly Bishop of Cairo, GA; 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Lois Lodge (Morris) of Pelham, GA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Dexter Barry Mobley; brother, Danny Mobley; and sisters, Ava Mathis and Lanelle Edwards.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
