Funeral services for Graham F. Connell are Thursday

Funeral services for Graham Forest Connell, 85, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church, Whigham, GA.  Elder Dwight Marshall and Elder Franklin Bryant will officiate.  Interment will be in Trinity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Connell passed away at his home on Sunday, December 22, 2013.
Active pallbearers will be: Ronnie Connell, Ray Connell, David Connell, Wayne Connell, Lyndon Bruckerhoff, and Craig Hawkins.
Mr. Connell was born on July 5, 1928, in Whigham, GA, to the late Walter Raymond and Gertrude Hall Connell.  He was a graduate of Whigham High School with the class of 1945.  On December 15, 1954, he married Doris Baggett Connell, who survives.  He was a farmer and a very active member of Trinity Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Doris B. Connell of Whigham, GA; sons, Donald (Marilyn) Connell of Whigham, GA, Lavon (Melanie) Connell of Whigham, GA; daughter, Faye Connell Adkins of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Tabitha  (James) Clark of Thomasville, GA, and Brandi Adkins of Whigham, GA; brother-in-law, John Hawkins of Eufaula, AL;
and a special caregiver, Joyce Harrell.  The family would like to extend a special thank you for the Hospice staff.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Sarah Connell; sister, Cathryn Hawkins; and a son-in-law, Sim Adkins.

The family will receive friends at the home prior to the service, and at the church for one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday, December 26, 2013.
