The Maids defeated the Lady Panthers 9-0, and the Makers were 10-0 winners over the Panthers.
The Syrupmaids picked up nine goals from seven different players as the girls spread the scoring around.
Only Jennifer McClenny had multiple goals as she led the team with three.
Cairo also picked up goals from Annie Ross, Haylee Brown, Catherine Wilson, Sarah Carnline, Ashton Rich and Tabor Forgay.
Ross also had two assists, and Brown had one in the region shutout win.
For the Syrupmakers, Lee Ponder once again lit up the scoreboard, scoring five of Cairo’s 10 goals.
Ponder also had two assists. Mose Willis had two goals and two assists.
Luke Kimmel had a goal and a couple of assists as well. Cairo also had goals from John Holt and Joel Bass. Jake Kimmel had one assist as well.
After spring break this week, the Makers and Maids will be back in action on April 11 at home against Crisp County. The boys play at 5 p.m. and the girls play at 7 p.m.
