Memorial services for Buenah Clyde “B. C.” Harrison, 77, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA, with his nephew Steve Harrison officiating and a private interment.  Mr. Harrison passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Harrison was born on September 7, 1932, in Grady County, GA, to the late Joseph James Harrison and Archie Lou Johnson Harrison.  He was married to Marion Spooner Harrison, who survives.  Mr. Harrison was retired from heating and air conditioning maintenance, served in the United States Marines and was of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include:  his wife, Marion S. Harrison, Cairo, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Cynthia Harrison, Cairo, GA; granddaughter, Cheryl “Cheri” Harrison, Cairo, GA;  brother and sister-in-law, James Haywood and Lorraine Harrison, Lexington, KY; sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Billy Taylor, Calvary, GA and  Grace Harrison Hunter, Calvary, GA;  sister-in-law, Doris Harrison, Calvary, GA; a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by  a son, Joe Clyde Harrison; his parents; one sister; E. Waunell Harrison; brother, Donald Laverne Harrison; brother-in-law, Billy Hunter.
No special visitation is planned.
