Funeral services for Angia Leah Jones are Monday

Services for Angia Leah Jones, 92, of Whigham, GA, will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA, with Rev. Dr. Joe Allen officiating.  Interment will follow in Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Ms. Jones passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010, at Pinewood Nursing Center, Whigham, GA.
Active pallbearers will be Ken LeGette, Gary Jones, Vernon Dixon, Jerry Jones, Tim Keller and Roy Brock.
Ms. Jones was born on January 19, 1918, in Cairo, GA, to the late Robert Henry and Pency Jane Stanaland Jones.  Ms. Jones was employed with the Grady County REA for over 25 years serving as an assistant manager.  She was retired from the Florida DOT and a member of First Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.
Survivors include: sister, Raenell Jones, Cairo, GA; niece, Dr. Jane Jones Bader and  husband, Mr. George Michael Bader of Lexington, SC;  great niece, Karen Bader Burton and husband, James Daly Burton of Columbia, SC; great-great-nieces, Joyce Elizabeth Burton and Marie Catherine Burton both of Columbia, SC; several cousins including cousin Irma Christ of Rockville, MD.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pency S. Jones, 1984; father, Robert Henry Jones, 1954; brothers, Talbot Jones, 2006, and Henry Stanaland Jones, 2008.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 27, 2010, from 4 until 6:00 p.m.
