CHS swimmer is two time all-state swimmer

Cairo High School swimmer James Bowen competed last week at the GHSA state championship swim meet. Bowen was a finalist in both the 100m butterfly event and the 100m breaststroke event.
Bowen finished fourth overall in the butterfly event and tenth in the state in the breaststroke event. Bowen’s efforts gave Cairo High School a tie for 27th place overall in the state with 91 teams boys and girls combined competing.
Bowen was also selected to the All-State swim team for the second year in row.
