Services for Thomas L. Manning are Thursday

Services for Thomas Lloyd Manning, 61, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Cloud officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Manning passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010, at his home.
Active pallbearers will be Blake Wilson, Leeford Gilliland, Ronnie Gilliland, Charles Ray Gilliland, Jerry Manning and Shelly Simpson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Johns, Ed Marshall, Eddie Barrineau and Allan Ash.
Mr. Manning was born on December 19, 1948, in Cairo, GA, to the late Julius Alfred Manning and Ruby Lee Brogdon.   He was a millwright.   
Survivors include: his wife, Judy Manning of Cairo, GA; son and daughter-in-law,  Thomas Jefferson and Leslea Manning of Cairo, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Manning-Everett and Terry Everett of Thomasville, GA; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Vickie and Glen Hall of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Blake Monroe Wilson of Cairo, GA, Madison Manning of Cairo, GA, Aubrey Manning of Cairo, GA, Tyler Manning of Cairo, GA, Brent Thompson of Thomasville, GA, Brandon Thompson of Thomasville, GA, Teila Thompson of Thomasville, GA, Kayla Hall of Thomasville, GA, Dewayne Hall of Thomasville, GA, Paige Johnson, Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Trip Monroe Wilson of Thomasville, GA, Brooklyn Hobbs of Thomasville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Kay Manning of Cairo, GA; sister, Betty Manning of Reynoldsville, GA; a host of nieces and nephews.   
Mr. Manning was preceded in death by: his parents, Julius Alfred Manning and Ruby Lee Brogdon; brother, James Manning; sister, Reatha Wilfred.  
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at the funeral home.
