Mr. Barrett was born in Grady County on November 16, 1939 to the late Thomas Littleton (Litt) Barrett and Atherlone Burnum Barrett. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: son, Heath Michael Barrett of Cairo, GA; grandson, Justin Robert Barrett of Inverness, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wylene B. Halstead of Cairo, GA, Betty Jo B. and J. N. Carter of Cairo, GA, Marilyn B. Golden of Cairo, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey L. Barrett of Albany, GA; E. Eugene Barrett of Land-Of-Lakes, FL, Theodore Robert (Ted) and Martha Barrett of Ellijay, Georgia, Jean Barrett of Quitman, GA; stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, Travis S. and Lori S. Singletary, Jr. of Crestview, FL, Jackson D. and Lisa F. Singletary of Thomasville, GA, Timothy W. and Karen L. Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by; his wife, Nell Brookins Singletary Barrett; his son, Roscoe Burnum Barrett; his grandson, Mason Littleton Barrett; his parents, Thomas Littleton (Litt) Barrett and Atherlone Burnum Barrett; and his brother, Oliver Wayne Barrett.
