Madelyn Harrell to be memorialized Wednesday

Funeral services for Madelyn Gainous Harrell, 79, of Cairo, GA, (formerly of Clearwater, FL) will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Dr. Paul Jones will officiate.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Harrell passed away at Grady General Hospital on Sunday, October 25, 2009.   
Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Mills, Ronnie Mills, Pete Turcotte, Wallace Cox, Tommy Willis, Stanley Sellers and Greg Sellers.   
Mrs. Harrell was born in Decatur County, GA, on December 7, 1929, to the late Tony Gainous and Annie Louis Dean Gainous.  She was retired from Publix Supermarkets and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.   
She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Paul Turcotte of Euharlee, GA; grandson, Pete James Turcotte of Euharlee, GA; granddaughter, Lisa Anne Turcotte of Euharlee, GA; great-grandchildren, Lillie Anne Turcotte and Benjamin James Turcotte, both of Euharlee, GA; sisters, Louise M. Willis of Cairo, GA and Christine Sellers of Climax, GA.
Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by: her husband, James Carlton Harrell; her parents, Tony Gainous and Annie Louis Dean Gainous; her brother, Arnold Gainous.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m until 7:30 p.m.
