Syrupmakers hosting Worth Friday

The Worth County Rams come to West Thomas Stadium Friday night with a
1-3, defeating Turner County 41-0, before losing to Fitzgerald, Woodland
and Dougherty.
The Rams finished 5-5 last season and have lost to three very good
football teams.  Cairo, now 2-2 on the year is coming off a last second
win over the Monroe Tornadoes. Under new head coach Scotty Ward, the
Rams are looking to get back on the winning track.
“Worth County always has  good athletes, they return a lot of speed at
runningback and have some good size on the defensive line,” said Cairo
coach Tom Fallaw.
The Syrupmakers and rams square off this Friday night at West Thomas
Stadium at 7:30pm.
