Graveside services planned for Donnie L. Taylor

Services for Donnie Levon Taylor, 62, of Grady County, Ochlocknee, Georgia, are 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2009, graveside in Springhill Christian Church Cemetery, Ochlocknee, Georgia.  The Rev. Dr. James Spencer will officiate.  Active pallbearers are James Kirk, David Clark, Ken Stanaland, Keith Sandefur, Tony Odom, Mike Gainous, Larry McCorkle, Tim Monk, Franklin Powers, Daniel Stanaland, Randy Brinson, Daniel Stanley, Danny Thomas, Johnny Mack Butler and Larry Cone.  Mr. Taylor passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, Georgia.  
Born December 30, 1946, in Thomas County, Georgia, he was a son of the late Marvin and Gladys Cone Taylor.  He was the owner of  Cool Water Wells with 40 years experience drilling wells from Texas to Saudi Arabia.  He served in the U. S. Army, was an avid hunter and a member of Springhill Christian Church. He loved his family and friends and was a valued member of his community.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Elaine Vick Taylor, Grady County, Ochlocknee, Georgia; son, Tate Taylor, Grady County, Ochlocknee, Georgia;  daughter, Angela (Robert) Willis, Cairo, Georgia; sons, Jerry (Melanie) Dupree, Donnie (Darlene) Dupree, all of  Cairo, Georgia; grandchildren, Brittany Dupree, Lauren Dupree and Jordan Dupree all of Thomasville, Georgia, Madysen Dupree, Ethan Miller, Allison Dupree, Keri Dupree, Casey Dupree, Noah Hobbs and Chaz Brady all of Cairo, Georgia; brother, Jan (Brenda) Taylor, Thomasville, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Jimmy Braswell.
