Funeral services for Judy H. Gilliard are Wednesday

Active pallbearers will be Bert Ellis, Gene Hickey, Sydney Humphries, Kermit Gilliard, Sr., John Tillis, Zane Owens, Ken Hickey and Randy Hickey.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class at Pine Level Baptist Church.  Mrs. Gilliard died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her residence.
Born October 1, 1953 in Pelham, Georgia, she was a daughter of Lougenia Aldredge Hartsfield, who survives, and the late Freeman Oscar Hartsfield.  She married Allen Gregory Gilliard, who survives, on March 30, 1973 in Thomas County, Georgia.  She was a retired loan specialist with the USDA and a member of Pine Level Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Greg Gilliard, Pelham, Georgia; son, Michael Freeman Gilliard, Dunwoody, Georgia; mother, Lougenia Aldredge Hartsfield, Ochlocknee, Georgia; granddaughter, Whittney Nicole Gilliard, Bainbridge, Georgia; grandson, Dillan Allen Gilliard, Pelham, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Joe Palmer, Camilla, Georgia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. A.C. and Latrelle Gilliard, Pelham, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Allen Gilliard; and her father, Freeman Oscar Hartsfield.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home.
