Thursday services planned for Audnie Collins Littlefield
Mrs. Audnie Mae Collins Littlefield, 94, of Marianna, Fla., died on Monday, July 20, 2009, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.
Funeral services for Mrs. Littlefield will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 4 p.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, Whigham, Ga. The Rev. Johnny Burdick will officiate and Chris and Tim Whisenant will assist. Interment will follow in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. in the annex of the church prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be Larry Collins, Billy Boyette, Heathe Bryan, Bobby Simmons, Leon Bryan and Walter Frank Hand Sr.
Mrs. Littlefield was a daughter of the late John Henry and Mamie Harrell Collins, born in Whigham, Ga., and raised in the Magnolia Baptist Church community. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marianna, Fla., and a former member of Magnolia Baptist Church.
Survivors are her sons; Thomas S. (Wilma) Whisenant, Marianna, Fla., and John Wayne (Carolyn) Whisenant of Fruitland, Fla.; brother, Douglas Collins, Batesburg, S.C.; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands Henry Littlefield and J. T. Whisenant; brothers and sisters, Lloyd Collins, Aaron Collins, Woodrow Collins, Edward Collins, Willie Bell Jones and Octavia Boyette.
