Beloved Cairo funeral director John Lauren Clark Jr., of Clark Funeral Home, died Thursday, May 21. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of Cairo First Baptist Church. Funeral services have been set for Sunday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the church of your choice of to the Cairo First Baptist Church Building Fund. Clark, 78, is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, John; and daughters, Lisa C. LeGette and Laurie C. McGhin.
