Services planned for Daphne Kinchen

Mrs. Daphne Rue Anderson Kinchen passed away April 19, 2009, at Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, Ga.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009, at Long Branch Baptist Church, Cairo, Ga. Interment will be held in Long Branch Cemetery. Pastor Paul Wade and Elder Max Childs will be officiating.
Stephen Harris, Craig Steedley, Eric Jordan, Kyle Puttkammer, Raymond Scott, Aaron Kinchen and Phillip Harris will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Kinchen’s home, 146 Davis Lane, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.
Daphne Anderson Kinchen was born to William Archibold and Sally Savelle Anderson in Geneva County, Ala., March 31, 1915. Daphne married Arthur M. Kinchen Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a housewife and member of Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kinchen is survived by her children: Juanita Jordan and husband Billy of Cairo, Ga., Carolyn Steedley and husband Bill of Swainsboro, Ga., Elaine Harris and husband Don Sr. of Mexico Beach, Fla., Arthur M. (Sonny) Kinchen and wife Nancy of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; grandchildren, Angela Jordan of Cairo, Ga., Cynthia Puttkammer of Duluth, Ga., Craig Steedley of Powder Springs, Ga., Daphne Scott of Twin City, Ga., Phillip Harris of North Augusta, S.C., Stephen Harris of Rocky Face, Ga., Amy Ehrlich of Baton Rouge, La., and Aaron Kinchen of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Alice Anderson of Whigham, Ga.
