Today is national signing day

Several members of Cairo High School’s 2008 state championship football team are set to sign Letters of Intent to attend college and play football. The event will be this Wednesday at the largest National Signing Day ceremony ever held at Cairo High School.
The program will begin at 2 p.m. in the Cairo High gym as members of this year’s senior class make their college intentions known in front of family, friends and fellow teammates.
At the conclusion of today’s ceremony photos of the signees will be featured in a photo gallery on www.cairomessenger.com. According to coach Tom Fallaw, Angelo Pease, Reginald Bryant, JJ Wilcox, Anthony Brown, Justin Palmer, Logan Bennett, Terrell Perkins, and Montavious Williams are all set to sign Wednesday, with a possibility of a “few more.”
