Next week, the Help Agency of Grady County is having its monthly food aid distribution for people in need.
The giveaway will take place at the Agency, which is located at 1651 N. Broad St., on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
As always, participants are asked to stay in their vehicles and follow signs and directions. People should wear masks and arrive no earlier than 8:30 a.m. to avoid causing traffic stops on the highway.
Help Agency officials ask that no more than two families be represented per car.
Although closed, the Agency is still assisting Grady County residents with utilities, rent and medical bills. Requests for assistance may be made between 9 a.m. and noon on Tuesdays by calling (229) 377-2709.
