The local family owned dog rescue, Best Friends, is now offering boarding services with profits going to benefit their rescue mission.
Best Friends Dog Rescue and boarding is located on 58 acres on Bold Springs Road.
“Here at Best Friends, we are dedicated to providing the best care for your furry family members treating them as if they are our own and making every effort to minimize the stress of being separated from their owners while away,” said Laurie Deese, owner. “Your dog will never be alone during the day hours and have lots of T.L.C. by our team members.”
Deese said dogs will have indoor space with doggie doors leading to an outside fenced dog kennel. Three times a day, the dogs will have access to a large fenced yard, and there is also an indoor playroom.
Base price for boarding is $25 per day. Those interested in utilizing the service should go to the website bestfriendsdogrescue.net and fill out a boarding application. For more information, call (229) 377-1538.
The dog rescue is a non-profit, no-kill facility supported solely by private donations, and their rescued puppies and dogs are available for adoption.
