The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a one-car accident that happened in the early morning hours Tuesday on GA Highway 112.
Georgia State Patrol Trooper Tyler Edgar says a woman driving a Chevrolet Malibu apparently lost control at 112’s intersection with Belcher Circle as she was driving south at 5:37 a.m.
Early information indicates the woman struck a culvert, which caused the car to flip at least once. The woman, who was apparently not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car.
Trooper Edgar says the driver was taken by ambulance to Grady General Hospital and then flown by medical helicopter to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No further information was available as the investigation continued Tuesday.
