The late Benny Prince, a former Grady County commissioner, will be memorialized Friday with a tree planting ceremony at Barber Park.
In recognition of former commissioner Prince’s love for the community, the Grady County Recreation Department announced plans this week to plant a tree in the memorial garden at Barber Park in his memory.
The event will take place this Friday, Oct. 23, beginning at 11 a.m.
Family and friends of Prince are invited to attend.
