THUMBS UP from some of the Poker Run participants.

Koyo Bearings hosted its 2nd annual motorcycle poker run fundraiser to benefit Cairo’s Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club Saturday.

The “Riding Miles to Support the JRBGC” raised $2,550, according to Stephen Francis, director of the local Boys & Girls Club.
“It was great weather and great fellowship coming together in such unity for such a good cause,” says Francis. “We really appreciate plant manager Scott Cline, the Koyo employees and all the riders from their respected communities that came out in support our club. Koyo continues to invest in the growth and success of our children that will return back one day 100 fold to our community.”
The JTEKT/Koyo Cairo plant has partnered for several years with Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club, and started the poker run last year to increase its financial support.
Saturday’s poker route began and ended at Koyo, and also included food and entertainment. Winner of the best hand received $100, and the worst hand won $25. There were also door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing.
