Space is limited and only the first 25 ladies to register and complete a background check will be admitted. Deadline to register is Friday, July 24.
To register stop by the Grady County Sheriff’s Office on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and complete a free background check.
The class will be held in the courtroom at the sheriff’s office and then will move to the City of Cairo Police Department firing range off Wight Road.
The class will run from 8:30 a.m. until noon and then participants will train at the gun range between either 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
It is not necessary for participants to own a gun or have any equipment, but if a lady does own a gun she is asked to bring it with ammunition.
