A Cairo man is being held in the Mitchell County Jail in connection to the shooting death of a man there last week.
Antwan Dominic Shivers, 25, is charged with one count of Malice Murder, four counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
Shivers is charged in connection to the death of Rondarius Radahn Williams, 31, of Camilla.
On Tuesday, June 2, at approximately 3:55 p.m., the Camilla Police Department requested the G.B.I. assist in a homicide investigation into the shooting of Williams at the Tyson plant in Camilla. Williams died at the Mitchell County Hospital.
After fleeing the scene, Shivers was identified as a suspect and taken into custody by the Thomasville Police Department, according to the G.B.I.
Shivers was charged on Wednesday, June 3. He remains in the Mitchell County Jail.
