THE ZEBULON THEATRE reopens this weekend.
After months of being shuttered, Cairo’s historic Zebulon Theatre is reopening this Friday, June 5, with a classic horror, “Jaws”, just in time for summer.
Locally owned United National Bank invites everyone to come out to see the movie and enjoy the popular Zebulon snack bar.
“Our community, nation and world have been through so much and the pandemic is not over. We must remain vigilant and take precautions, but we want the community to be able to enjoy our hometown theatre once again,” said United National Bank Vice President of Marketing Linda Drew Johnson.
U.N.B. is covering the admission for all showings of “Jaws” this weekend with shows set for 7 p.m. on Friday, June 5; 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6; and 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 7.
“Come enjoy the movie, popcorn and a drink. Your support will help keep the Zebulon alive. We at United National Bank are proud to do our prt to support the Zebulon and to show our appreciation for the community by offering free admission this weekend. Come be our guest!” U.N.B.’s Johnson said.
Zebulon Theatre general manager Robert Dykes says the theatre will be following all recommended guidelines and encourages residents to come out and enjoy the movie, while observing safe practices.
Movie goers will be responsible for the price of any snacks they purchase.
