JESSIE CARL DANIELS JR. is wanted by Cairo Police.
Police say they are looking for a 31-year-old Cairo man for beating his girlfriend and leaving her with broken bones and a bloody face. Jessie Carl Daniels Sr., is wanted by Cairo Police for questioning in the assault on his 22-year-old girlfriend.
Police were called to an apartment complex on Joyner Road at 10:57 p.m. Sunday, March 15. There, police say they found the victim with her mother, who told police her daughter needed help but was scared.
The victim had severe swelling on the left side of her face, a black eye and blood coming from her mouth, according to Cairo Police. The report on the incident indicates she also was choked and suffered broken bones, gun/knife wounds, superficial injuries, threats and abusive language.
Police state the attack happened in front of a child.
The victim was escorted to Grady General Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Warrants have been taken out against Daniels for the offenses of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and cruelty to children.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Daniels is asked to call 9-1-1, the Cairo Police Department at (229) 378-3096, or the Grady County Sheriff’s Office at (229) 377-5200.
Police warn the public not to approach Daniels, but to contact authorities instead.
