A 69-year-old Tallahassee man was killed riding his motorcycle when he crashed into a deer in South Grady County Sunday morning.
Kenneth Hillard McDaniel was driving east on Gainey Road at about 11:50 a.m. when he struck the deer with the front of his motorcycle. McDaniel was about 400 feet West of Whitfield Road at the time, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The force of the crash ejected McDaniel from his 2009 Kawasaki Concours 14.
The G.S.P. investigated the crash. According to their report, McDaniel was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
