Grady County Sheriff Harry Young says his office is continuing its probe into last week’s rash of burglary and entering auto cases in northern neighborhoods of the county, and they have one suspect in custody.
Sheriff Young says his deputies and investigators have recovered multiple items reported stolen last week. The majority of incidents were reported Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 3-4.
Items recovered include some guns, tools, a vehicle, a four-wheeler and other property. Other firearms, tools, electronics and other items remain at large, the sheriff says.
“If anyone hears anything, call us so we can get right on it,” says Sheriff Young. “We’re not going to stop the investigation until we get everyone arrested that’s involved.”
The original cases took place at locations on Reagan Road, Capel Road, Baggett Mill Road and Woodland Road. Homes, outbuildings, cars and trucks were ransacked by the perpetrator/s, according to the sheriff.
Anyone with information that could assist sheriff’s investigators is asked to call 911 or the Grady County Sheriff’s Office at 229-377-5200.
