Calendar to be included in Christmas newspaper
The Cairo Messenger’s annual Christmas edition will be published Monday, in readers’ hands on Monday, and in subscribers’ mailboxes beginning Tuesday.
Look for a copy of the newspaper’s annual calendar inside this very special issue along with hundreds of letters to Santa from local children.
“We are proud of our 2020 calendar. The photography, all contributed by talented local photographers, is exceptional. We hope the community will appreciate it as much as we enjoy providing it to our readers each year as our Christmas gift to one and all,” Messenger Editor and Publisher Randolph H. Wind said this week.
In addition, local merchants, businesses and organizations will have special Christmas greetings for Messenger readers in the Christmas edition.
A similar print schedule will be followed for the Jan. 1 edition, which means for the next two weeks, deadlines for submissions have been moved up. Deadlines for classified and legal advertising is noon on Thursday, Dec. 19 and Dec. 26. Display advertising and news submission deadlines are at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 and Dec. 26.
