BROAD STREET RR CROSSING TO CLOSE WEDNESDAY

CSX Railroad officials have notified City of Cairo officials that the railroad crossing on Broad Street in downtown Cairo will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 and is expected to reopen by Friday, Dec. 12 at 8 a.m. “This is a railroad project and we know it will cause an inconvenience but we are hopeful the work can be completed on schedule. Please plan accordingly,” Cairo City Manager Chris Addleton said.
