PHYLLIS CLARK NICHOLS will be the featured author at Lunch & Learn next week.
A Cairo native and the author of several books will be the featured guest speaker next week at an event to be held at Roddenbery Memorial Library.
Phyllis Clark Nichols is returning to her hometown and will be spotlighted at a Lunch & Learn hosted by the Friends of the Library on Thursday, Oct. 17, beginning at noon.
Mrs. Nichols, the daughter of Betty Clark and the late J. Rogers (Buddy) Clark of Cairo, is the author of inspirational fiction books including, “Silent Days, Holy Night,” “Return of the Song,” and “The Birthday Portrait.”
Lunch will be provided, but reservations are required. For more information or to make a reservation call the library at 229-377-3632.
Then, on Saturday, Oct. 19, Mrs. Nichols will take part in a book signing event hosted by Miss Myrt’s in downtown Cairo from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
