YOUNG 4-YEAR-OLD Kheaynn Hill found a comfy reading spot and enjoyed a colorful book about birds. She attends Decatur Grady Head Start.
Roddenbery Memorial Library opened in its newly remodeled building Thursday, and is the site of next week’s chamber sponsored “Business After Hours.” The public is invited to attend the late afternoon event, which is co-sponsored by RML and Bryan Gainous State Farm in Thomasville.
In addition to refreshments by chamber member Simply Southern, Trey Gainous, executive director of the chamber, says beer and wine will be served and music will be performed in the library auditorium.
“This will get our community in there to see the library and show everybody everything that they have to offer, from yoga to Zumba and everything in between. And, it’s all free,” Gainous says.
The Business After Hours event begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. next Thursday, April 25.
