Jurors called for Sept. 24 are excused

Traverse jurors were unnecessary for the September Term of Superior Court in Grady County, which began this week. All cases were continued to December for the Adjourned September Term, according to the Grady County Clerk of Court’s office, and no cases requiring a jury were tried.
Traverse jurors who received a summons for Sept. 24 are excused, according to Grady County Clerk of Court Debbie Kines.
The Grady County Grand Jury was called for duty on Monday, and the group considered a list of cases to determine which called for indictments. Results of the Grand Jury’s actions will be available to be published in next week’s issue of The Messenger.
