Scholarship banquet is this Saturday
The 2018 MLK Collaborative Annual Scholarship Banquet is Saturday night at the Grady County Agri-Center, and will feature speaker Shaunta Dismuke Sr., performances by the three winners of the “One Voice, One Dream” contest, and entries to the MLK Art Contest. Maria Vasquez will serve as Mistress of Ceremony.
Dismuke is a native of Grady County and a 1996 graduate of Cairo High School. The son of James Dismuke Jr., and Bevelyn Moore, he is married to Tinika R. Dismuke, and they have five sons.
Tickets to the banquet are available at Cairo DUI School and from any member of the MLK Collaborative.
