Armed bandits robbed south Grady County business Monday

Law enforcement officers are still looking for a pair of armed men who robbed a south Grady County business Monday morning. The same two men are wanted in connection with two more armed robberies that happened in nearby communities hours later, according to Grady County Sheriff Harry Young.
Wearing masks and gloves, the men walked into Title Pawn on Hwy. 319 S. and forced the employees into a bathroom, Sheriff Young says. The business keeps very little money on site, according to the sheriff, who says, “They got away with only $7 in cash.”
Approximately one hour later, though, a similar robbery took place in Bainbridge and soon after that a third robbery took place at a liquor store in Baker County, the sheriff says.
Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to contact the Grady County Sheriff’s Office at (229)377-5200 or call 911.
