High school puts student schedules online
With the opening of the new ninth grade academy next week at Cairo High School, administrators are working to be proactive in addressing scheduling issues, not only for freshmen but for all high school students.
On Tuesday, Principal Chris Lokey opened the parent portal on the Grady County School System’s website to allow parents and guardians to view their child’s schedule.
“This is an effort to be proactive and address potential scheduling concerns in an efficient manner before school starts next Friday,” Lokey said.
Parents can use their current username and password to access the portal. Parents who do not have a username and password or experience difficulty should call the high school at 229-377-2222 for assistance or more information.
CHS officials say they are planning to address scheduling concerns beginning today, Wednesday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m. through Friday, July 28 until 3 p.m. All concerns not addressed during this time can be addressed by contacting the guidance office next week.
