Retired FSU professor to speak at Historical Society meeting

The Grady County Historical Society will meet next week and a former Florida State University professor will be the guest speaker.
Dr. Tom Hart, a retired FSU professor, will speak on World War II Holocaust survivor Corrie ten Boom. Hart will share information on Boom’s ordeal and how she helped others to survive the Nazi persecution and murder of European Jews.
The society meets in the Cairo city council chamber inside the Roddenbery Building on North Broad Street, next door to the Cairo Municipal Building.
