Chamber event drew big crowd
More than 150 local workers attended the chamber’s annual Administrative Professional’s Day luncheon last week complete with a fashion show and gift giveaways.
Ambassadors for the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce were on hand to assist with the luncheon, which honored Grady County’s many administrative professionals. The ambassadors welcomed the 165 guests who were treated to chicken salad served over green salad with brownie desserts catered by Whigham Diner.
The fashion show included new spring looks from local shops, Head 2 Toe Boutique, Center Drugs, South Georgia Outdoors, Bishop’s Jewelry, Beautiful Expression Boutique, Al Dixon’s (Thomasville), and Mary Kay representative Chastity Cox.
Local businesses donated gifts valued at more than $4,500.
