Early voting ends Friday, so far only 459 have voted

Advanced voting will conclude this Friday at 5 p.m. and so far the local interest in the Presidential Preference Primary has been lackluster.
As of late Tuesday, only 459 voters had cast ballots. During last Saturday’s one day of Saturday voting, only 26 voters showed up to vote.
The only race on both the Republican and Democratic ballot is for President of the United States.
The Grady County Registrar’s Office and the polling place for advanced voting have been moved to the county annex located at 24 Third Avenue N.E., behind the Grady County Courthouse.
Election day is next Tuesday, March 1 and the county’s 13 polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. for voting.
For more information about advanced voting or other election related questions, contact the Grady County Registrar’s Office at (229) 377-1897.
