Four candidates seeking EMS director post to be interviewed this week

Grady County officials will interview applicants for the position of Emergency Medical Service director this week.
County Clerk and Human Resources Director Carrie Kines Croy said four candidates have applied for the position vacated by former director Billy Rathel.
Rathel gave up the job late last year due to health issues.
“All four applicants are qualified and we are scheduling interviews this week,” Mrs. Kines Croy said.
Serving on the interview committee in addition to Mrs. Kines Croy will be Grady County Commission Chairman Charles Norton and Grady County Administrator Carlos Tobar.
According to Mrs. Kines Croy a fourth member to the interview committee with medical background or EMS experience will likely be added, but no one had been selected as of late Tuesday.
