Four lucky winners have extra green to spend here

Four lucky Grady County shoppers have some extra Christmas Cash to spend at participating local merchants this year.
The annual Cairo Messenger Christmas Cash promotion concluded Friday with the drawing of four lucky names.
The winner of $400 in Christmas Cash was Kristy McKee; coming in second with $300 was Betty Bradley; Shirley Pyles was the lucky winner of $200 in Christmas Cash; and Sylas Bell won $100 in holiday cash.
The winners will split $1,000 in Christmas Cash, which is good at Bishop’s Jewelry, Gilliard’s Store, South Georgia Tractor, Miss Myrt’s, Center Drugs, South Georgia Outdoors, Annell’s Flower Shop and Stash Home Decor & Gifts.
The promotion is also supported by Ameris Bank, Capital City Bank, Citizens Bank, and United National Bank.
“Without our participating merchants and the financial support of the local banks this promotion would not be possible. It was created as another marketing tool to promote shopping in Grady County during the holiday season. When shoppers shop locally we all are winners,” said Messenger Editor and Publisher Randolph H.
