County employees to get extra half day off plus Christmas bonus

Grady County officials are in a generous spirit this Christmas.
County commissioners, without any public discussion, approved a half day off for county employees on Thursday, Dec. 24, as well as payment of $32,400 in Christmas bonuses to county personnel.
The board of commissioners ratified their verbal approval at Tuesday night’s meeting.
Employees with six months to one year’s service will receive a $50 bonus; employees with one to five years service will be paid $100; employees with six to 10 years service will be paid $250; and employees with over 10 years service will be paid $500.
