CHS students are headed to paradise this Homecoming

This is the week the Syrupmaker spirit is celebrated in style as the student body honors one another, their school heritage and the football team’s prowess on the gridiron. It is Homecoming week, and to get it all started, the student body enjoyed an assembly Monday morning where class representatives and the Homecoming Court were announced, along with nominees for Homecoming King. The students, faculty and fans will wrap up the week with the traditional Homecoming parade through downtown Cairo Thursday at 5 p.m., then Friday evening’s football game.
