The Cairo Youth Council’s annual Cairo High School Bruty Queen Contest is tonight, Friday, March 20. The newspaper erroneously stated the womanless beauty pageant is Saturday. We regret the error.
Pageant proceeds will go to the council’s non-profit of choice, Cairo Pregnancy Center.
Council members encourage the public to come out tonight and support the high school boys who have put so much work into making this an entertaining evening. Contestants are: Cole Bennett, Titus Butler, Dylan Cox, Mathew Freeman, Orion Frees, Marcus Gaines, E.J. Harrison, Kaleb High, Sheddrick Miller, Timothy Monroe, Jamez Peters, Conner Prince, Ernie Raker, Buster Robinson, Nicholas Smith, Khemion Smith and Kane Stokes.
The pageant begins at 7 p.m. at the Cairo High School auditorium.
