The Woodmen of the World Chapter 580 in Cairo will be hosting its annual 9/11 memorial service on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Annually, Woodmen of the World salute America’s heroes on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on our nation. The ceremony honors those that died in 2001 and pays tribute to members of the military, firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians and other first responders.
