POLICE INVESTIGATE BIZARRE SUICIDE IN P.D. PARKING LOT

A Cairo woman drove into the parking lot of the Cairo Police Department Friday evening and shot herself, according to Cairo Police Chief Keith Sandefur.
Sandefur says the woman, 55, steered her vehicle into the CPD parking lot, got out and shot herself about 8 p.m.
The Chief says no one was in the parking lot at the time of the shooting, but a passing motorist saw her and notified authorities.
Sandefur says there is no known connection between the woman and Cairo Police. He says as with all deaths, Cairo Police are investigating the incident.
