Leadership Grady is a new Archway program
A new leadership program is starting for Grady County and is currently accepting nominations for its inaugural class.
Leadership Grady is the name of the program where participants will develop community leadership skills while working on a project designed to have a sustainable impact on youth development for Grady County.
The nine-month program is designed to bring together people who share a common vision and passion to make a positive and long lasting change in the Grady County area and create unity within various communities. This is a customized course developed as an Archway Partnership program in cooperation with the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at the University of Georgia.
Participants will be selected from a pool of applicants after consideration of their recognized and potential leadership qualities. Criteria for selection in the program include individuals who are committed to the well-being of Grady County; have an expressed passion in the area of youth development; have a desire and willingness to commit to active participation in nonemployment related volunteer activities; are willing to devote the time necessary to successfully complete all requirements of the program; and exhibit a willingness to be involved in continued leadership development.
