Young Life to host concert Tuesday night
Young Life Grady County has several upcoming events including a free concert and its second annual car wash and yard sale fundraiser.
The concert will feature Snellville, Ga., native Sam Heilig playing at Cairo’s Zebulon Theater. Admission is free and the public is invited to the show, Tuesday, May 7, 8 p.m.-9 p.m.
Young Life is also planning its fund raiser to help send Cairo High School students active in Young Life to summer camp in Fraser, Colo.
The Car Wash and Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the east parking lot of The Cairo Messenger, 31 1st Ave, NE.
Anyone who would like to donate items for Young Life to sell at the Yard Sale should contact Will Childs at williamgchilds@gmail.com or 229-220-1210. Clothes will not be included in the yard sale.
