Dallas Cowboys select J.J. Wilcox

The Dallas Cowboys selected strong safety J.J. Wilcox from Georgia Southern in the third round on Friday night of the NFL draft.
Wilcox was the first defensive player taken by the Cowboys in the draft.
Wilcox played for the Cairo Syrupmakers in 2008 and at Georgia Southern University, mainly on offense until this past season. In 2012, he moved to free safety for the Eagles, and because if his outstanding play, was invited to the Senior Bowl. It’s that ability to play offense that gives the Cowboys some hope he’ll do a nice job of finding the ball and reading quarterbacks and wide receiver routes.
