Commissioners to conduct interviews Saturday

Four candidates for the Grady County administrator position will be interviewed by county commissioners this weekend.
On Tuesday, the board met with its consultant, Tom Berry, to finalize plans for the weekend interviews.
According to Berry, four candidates will be interviewed with the first one beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. The interviews are being held at the Grady County Courthouse.
Following the interviews the county commission has the option of readvertising the position or naming finalists and selecting an administrator from among the finalists.
Georgia law requires the public disclosure of as many as three finalists 14 days prior to a final vote.
The interviews, in accordance with Georgia law, will be conducted in secret.
